Bratwurst Sausages - Jumpship mutton
**Heritage rare breed pork | Pasture & woodland-raised | preservative and filler-free **
Our mutton Bratwurst sausages are made using whole cuts from our own heritage breed entirely grass-fed sheep. Blended with four cans of Jumpship cherry sour per batch, veg, herbs, and a gentle seasoning to complement the natural sweetness of the mutton and add subtle depth without overpowering the clean character of the meat. Made in small batches, they’re juicy, balanced, and properly savoury — lightly aromatic, slightly sweet, and designed to cook beautifully without drying out. These are easy, comforting sausages that work just as well for breakfast as they do in autumn tray bakes or relaxed weekend cooking.
Why we like them High meat content with a rich flavour and a gentle sour-sweet undertone. Gentle herbal warmth from thyme, bay, and juniper Juicy texture that cooks evenly with a firm bite.
Perfect for: Breakfast sausages Tray bakes with root veg Frying or grilling Autumn casseroles Barbecuing gently over indirect heat
**How to cook ** Cook slowly over a medium heat, allowing the sausages to colour evenly while the beer sugars gently caramelise. Avoid high heat early on to keep them juicy.
**About the pork ** Outdoor-reared heritage rare breed pigs, born and raised on our farm. Slow-grown for flavour, welfare, and regenerating soil and ecosystems. No shortcuts, no intensification, no BS: how pork used to be and should be again.
